Mid-South Internal Medicine now Offers Three Nurse Practitioners
Vicki Chandler, DNP
Vicki Chandler, DNP, FNP-BC has been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years. She earned her masters in nursing from the University of Mississippi and her doctorate of nursing from the University of Alabama. Her favorite part of nursing is helping patients achieve their greatest wellness via health promotion. Dr. Chandler is also an associate professor with the University of Memphis in the family nurse practitioner program.
Brett Scher, FNP
Brett Scher, FNP has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for the last 17 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Francis College in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She graduated with honors and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society as an undergraduate. Brett started her career in Gallatin, Tennessee in Family Practice. She worked at that office for over 12 years until her husband’s job brought the family to Memphis. Brett lives in Collierville and is married to her high school sweetheart. They have two children. They are active members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. In her spare time, Brett enjoys golfing, walking, reading and the outdoors.
In April of 2016, Brett Scher will be increasing her days as a regular staff member and will be working in the clinic 3-4 days per week.
